How to Block Leads on Your Intaker Account

If you're receiving leads you’d prefer not to engage with, Intaker makes it simple to block them directly from your dashboard. Follow the step-by-step instructions below, and watch our how-to video for a visual walkthrough.

Step-by-Step Guide to Blocking Leads

  1. Log In to Your Intaker Account
    • Navigate to the Intaker login page and enter your credentials.
  2. Access the Lead Management Section
    • From your dashboard, click on the Leads tab in the main navigation menu.
  3. Select the Lead You Want to Block
    • Locate the lead you want to block from the list. Use the search bar to quickly find leads by name, email, or phone number.
  4. Open Lead Details
    • Click on the lead’s name to open their profile details.
  5. Block the Lead
    • In the lead profile, you will see the lead's name and contact information on the left hand side of your screen.
    • Scroll down until you see the Block Lead button.
    • Confirm the action when prompted. The lead will now be blocked and unable to contact you via Intaker.
  6. Verify the Block
    • Return to the Leads tab and check the blocked list to ensure the lead is successfully blocked.

What Happens When You Block a Lead?

  • The lead will no longer be able to send messages through your Intaker bot.
  • All interactions with the lead before blocking will remain in your records for reference.
