How Desk Notifications Work:
You will receive an email and a ping to your Desk for every notification. New chats get sent by text in addition to the other modalities.
Cautions:
- Using multiple channels to receive notifications ensures you and your team are always up-to-date. We do our best to maximize deliverability. However, some forms of communication, like emails, are not always reliable.
- We recommend turning on notifications for at least one team member if you have an integration set up. For example, if you are using Clio, Litify, or Lawmatics. All of the lead information is being pushed into those programs automatically. One reason you want notifications on is If the program you have integrated goes down, you want to be notified and aware of why no leads are coming in at this time.
- If a lead doesn't get assigned to anyone in your organization, everyone will receive the notifications. Notifications are sent out based on the individual's preferred method of notification (text and/ or email). Please see managing notifications for more information.
- Only the selected users will receive notifications if a lead has been assigned to a team or a specific individual in your organization.

Use Desk notifications in conjunction with teams to notify the right people whenever something needs your attention.
