How to Exclude Existing Clients from Chat:

There are two ways to get to "conversion settings" where you can activate "ask to exclude existing clients from the process." To start, navigate to the bots page.

You then can either select one of the bots from the sidebar and choose the "preference" drop-down or click the down arrow on the top right corner of your preferred bot and select "preferences."

Choose "advanced preferences" at the bottom of the page. You will then see the option to turn on "ask to exclude existing clients from the process" by moving the slider.

Pro Tip:

You can click the pencil to change the message they get from the default to something more custom-tailored for your audience. For example, you might want to say, "This chat is not for existing clients. To get a hold of us, please call [insert number here]."
